Janet Eden-HarrisCustomer intelligence solutions firm Market Force Information has appointed Janet Eden-Harris as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategy.

Founded in 2005, Market Force provides a suite of solutions that includes mystery shopping, merchandising, real-time customer satisfaction feedback and analytics capabilities. It has a field force of almost 300,000 that can collect information from stores, restaurants, theaters and banks throughout North America.

Prior to joining, Eden-Harris was CEO of social media research Umbria, which was acquired by JD Power and Associates/McGraw-Hill in 2008. Before that, she was EVP and CMO for Information Resources Inc (IRI), EVP and CMO for i2 Technologies, and CMO for Aspect Development.

In her new role, Eden-Harris will assume overall responsibilities for marketing, product management and corporate strategy, and will help drive the firm’s solutions around all aspects of consumer experience, opinion and observational data.

‘Janet comes to us with a long, sustained track record of innovative marketing and new product successes,’ said CEO Karl Maier. ‘She will drive development and execution of all demand generation programs, thought leadership and new products ideas – the most important drivers of our revenue growth.’
