In the US, Burke, Inc has promoted Bill Barnes and Debi Wyrick to Senior Vice President roles, and appointed John Thomas as a Vice President, Senior Account Executive in Client Services.

Barnes joined Burke in 2001 after a 26-year career at Eastman Chemical, which included working as Global Director of Customer Satisfaction. While at the firm, he also chaired a benchmark consortium that studied best practices in customer satisfaction measurement, analysis and deployment.

‘Bill provides invaluable insight into how companies view research suppliers, how organizations use, or do not use, research data and provides invaluable general business acumen,’ stated Tom Myers, SVP, Client Services Management.

Wyrick has been with Burke since 1995, and most recently served in both project management and analytical roles. Her experience has covered a range of strategic and tactical research issues including pricing, segmentation, concept testing, image and positioning, tracking, and customer satisfaction studies across several different industries.

‘Debi’s tenure at Burke, no matter what position she has held, has been marked consistently by hard work, superior performance and, most importantly, team work and friendliness,’ said Myers.

Most recently, Thomas worked for start-up marketing research firm Clear Seas Research, where he served as the Executive Director with responsibilities ranging from strategic direction and revenue generation to hiring and operations. Prior to this, he spent 13 years at Market Strategies International (MSI). In his new role, he will focus on creating new business among medical device manufacturers and hospital systems.

‘John’s extensive healthcare research experience and his stellar approach to client service provide him an excellent platform for building business at Burke,’ added Tara Marotti, SVP Client Services Management.
