Amanda SouterUK-based Leapfrog Research & Planning has appointed Amanda Souter as Research Director, working across two divisions – the Brand, Communications and Media division, and Health and Well Being. The firm has also hired Nicola Fenton as Research Manager.

Part of the Cello Group, Leapfrog provides qual, quant and digital research in the UK and internationally. Services include tracking, analytics, semiotics, ethnography and online groups.

Last October, the firm restructured to create three distinct business areas and reorganised its senior management team to oversee the changes.

Souter joins with nearly 30 years’ experience in advertising and research, having previously founded New York-based research and brand consultancy A Pomegranate, and held roles at JWT (San Jose) and Saatchi & Saatchi (London and New York).

Client Services Director Sarah Buckle comments: ‘At Leapfrog we pride ourselves in providing clients with a range of expertise and Amanda’s background and client experience compliments this perfectly.’

Fenton has seven years’ experience in research and was previously at Research International (now TNS), in Sydney, Australia, and at Nielsen. In her new role, she joins Leapfrog’s Health and Well Being division.
