Toby Collins and  Anna WillsUK-based Spring Research has appointed Toby Collins as Research Director and Anna Wills as Account Director in London.

Founded in 2004, Spring Research uses a variety of qual and quant approaches to uncover new insights into the ways that consumers view and respond to companies and their marketing activities.

Last summer, the agency launched Emotimeter; a methodology to measure the emotional resonance of ad campaigns using emoticons and other novel ingredients.

Collins joins with 10 years’ customer insight experience gained across a range of industries. Most recently, he worked client-side as Customer Insight & Research Manager at AXA Insurance, prior to which, he was Research Manager at Nissan Motor GB and at Renault. He also worked agency-side at DVL Smith/Cognition, Research International and FDS International.

Wills joins from Britvic Soft Drinks where she was a Planner for J20 and drench. Before this, she worked for Spring’s sister firm Mesh Planning, Hall & Partners, and Millward Brown, and has more than eight years’ research industry experience.
