Australia Online Research (AOR) has appointed panel specialist Dimitrios Casdas as Operations Director. AOR was set up by industry veteran Brian Fine last November to provide business, consumer and mobile phone sample, and offer market researcher assistance and involvement in the design, management and weighting or modelling of online fieldwork. The firm also provides a ‘scientific blending’ of panels, to ensure clients obtain a fully representative sample. Before AOR, Fine founded AMR research, now part of marketing content and services firm STW Group, and was most recently Chairman of STW’s The Online Research Unit (The ORU) and of its Insights Group, which includes AMR Interactive. Casdas joins from a similar role at The ORU, where he was involved in building and developing its quality accredited panel.
