Hope FrankIn the US, web analytics firm WebTrends has appointed Hope Frank as Chief Marketing Officer, following the departure of Jascha Kaykas-Wolff in July.

Frank joins with more than 20 years’ B2B and B2C marcoms experience. Most recently, she served as VP Marketing at mobile data solutions specialist Motricity, prior to which, she held the same job title at entertainment industry technology firm THX.

Earlier in her career, Frank spent five years as CMO for consumer electronics firm Olevia HDTV, where she directed a $20m+ marketing campaign, led brand direction, and was responsible for all retail activity globally. Before this, she held senior marketing positions for consumer electronics firms SBC, Vivitar and Brillian, and for broadcaster ESPN, as well as for PR agency Edelman and semiconductor company Photon Dynamics. She also co-founded her own branding and digital media firm Frank Harrison Perez.

In her new role, Frank will be based in both San Francisco and the Portland corporate headquarters.

Kaykas-Wolff, who joined WebTrends in 2008, now works as VP Marketing at social media management and monitoring firm Involver, which recently closed an $8m series C funding round.
