In the UK, River Research has expanded with the appointment of Henry Archer and Ela Wloch as Research Executives. River Research, which was founded in 2008 by former Illuminas trio Julian Kenway, Joe Brown, and Nick Cornish, specialises in international brand, FMCG, child and youth, and retail research. In March, the firm relocated to new custom-designed premises in Soho, London, in order to accommodate its growing team. Archer joins from GfK NOP, where he spent the past two years working on financial research as part of the firm’s graduate training scheme. Prior to this, he was a journalist for publications such as Timeout magazine. Wloch previously was a Research Executive in the Employee Research team at ORC International, where she supported public sector clients. Before this, she worked on a number of contract-based projects in the Eastern European markets. The new recruits bring River Research’s headcount to 11 full-time employees.
