River Research has expanded to new custom-designed premises in Soho, London, following its launch in Autumn 2008 and subsequent increase in headcount to 10 staff.

The firm, which was founded by former Illuminas trio Julian Kenway, Joe Brown and Nick Cornish, specialises in international brand, FMCG, child and youth, and retail research.

In its first full year of trading, it turned over £1.2m, and this year it anticipates this figure will increase to £1.6m.

Reflecting on the move, Kenway commented: ‘The new office provides a space where the team and clients can feel at home. We’ve had a good start to 2010 and it’s great to see that reflected in the energy and presentation of our new office.’
