Andy KalamarasIn the US, price modeling and customer insight firm KSS Retail has appointed Andy Kalamaras as Senior Vice President, Sales and Professional Services.

KSS Retail, which was acquired last year by Tesco Clubcard operator dunnhumby, provides price optimization and shopper insight solutions for the grocery, convenience, chain drug, general and online retail industries; and plans to expand its range of packaged shopper insight applications for retail customers.

Kalamaris joins with two decades’ senior sales and consultancy experience gained at technology providers including Accenture, Epicor, MicroStrategy and Guidance Software. Prior to entering the business world, he was a United States Army Intelligence Officer.

Announcing the appointment, KSS Retail’s CEO Yael Cosset said: ‘As we ready to launch our next generation of PriceStrat capability, we are focused on delivering maximum value to our existing and future clients by transforming how they will optimize prices and promotions.
