In the UK, consumer research agency RDSi has promoted seven members of staff. Dr Andy Burns becomes RDSi Group Board Director from his previous role as Research Director. Since taking over the management of RDSi Leeds, Burns has developed the unit's expertise in CSR, finance and fashion research. In 2003, he received a Doctorate in Consumer Behaviour from Cranfield University. Grahame Macmullen has also been promoted from Research Director to RDSi Group Board Director. In his new role he will develop the firm’s thought leadership program of seminars, and lead advertising research as a key specialism. MD Wendy Mitchell comments: ‘Andy and Grahame have been promoted to the Board in recognition of their very significant contribution to the firm’s growth, heading up major parts of the business.’ In addition: Anna Crowther has been promoted from Associate Director to Research Director; working across a range of life-stages and brands, with a special interest in kids and mums. She heads the company’s Gate Keeper Mums ongoing research programme. Joel Conway becomes Research Director from his previous position as Associate Director. Conway specialises in advertising, brand positioning and communication, FMCG, food & finance. Retail and quant specialist Lisa Frankel has been promoted from Research Manager to Associate Director. Food and drinks market researcher Laura Fitch has been promoted from Research Manager to Associate Director. Luke Cadman has been promoted from Research Executive to Senior Research Executive, heading the firm’s Go for Green product. He specialises in online research. During the past 10 years, RDSi has achieved average compound growth of 11% year-on-year, and now has a turnover of more than £6m.
