In India, market research outsourcing company Annik has appointed former Millward Brown Director Gary Stocks as EMEA Vice President and Principal Consultant, as part of its expansion into Europe. Stocks joins with more than 20 years' experience of operational management, process strategies and research technologies gained in the market research industry in Europe. Most recently he founded and managed two offshore / near shore MR companies, prior to which he was European Data Processing Director of Millward Brown, where he worked for 15 years. Commenting on the firm’s expansion, CEO Rahul Sahgal said: ‘The timing for expanding our European presence will help us to take advantage of the current market scenario where many companies and regions are looking for cost effective solutions and new ideas. Gary has a tremendous network that spans the UK, Western and Eastern Europe.’ Annik, which has 450 employees in Gurgaon and Shanghai, offers a range of data management, marketing research and business research services.
