Annik Launches Insights Platform

In India, MR and data analytics provider Annik has launched a system which enables the creation and delivery of insights from multiple primary and secondary data sources.
The Active Insights Management platform comprises three components:
- Data asset mapping - to evaluate the various sources of data and their relevance to decision variables
- Application platform - acting as a conduit to various sources of information
- 'Ask Your Analyst' - where extension teams can respond to requests and perform in-depth analyses of data.
President and CEO Rahul Sahgal explained: 'Apart from a company's primary and secondary research library, a key component of information required to gain a complete picture, is the perspective from consumers, key influencers and other stakeholders. Our new platform will allow companies to better leverage their research spend to gain a multi-dimensional view into key issues affecting them and their brands.'
The new service also harnesses the Internet as a data source; taking traditional as well as non-traditional news sources via RSS feeds.
