Jan Shury - Joint Managing Director
Jan Shury became joint managing director of IFF Research in 2008, having worked with the company for 13 years. IFF Research - which has just celebrated its 45th birthday - specialises in researching business, marketing and public policy issues for a wide variety of private and public sector clients, and has particular expertise in engaging with hard-to-reach groups.
Jan, aged 41, focuses on large-scale quantitative research using a mix of methodologies and creative techniques. In particular he supports projects intended to contribute to the understanding and measurement of the skills, learning and training environment and how it impacts on the social agenda, employment and benefits, and businesses and career advice.
Prior to joining IFF Research Jan lived and worked in Paris, conducting post-graduate research into political and social identities among second generation immigrants in England and in France.
