Gongos Partners with Consumer Trends Specialist

US researcher Gongos has formed a strategic partnership with Minneapolis-based consumer trends specialist Panoramix Global. The firms aim to provide corporate clients with a holistic understanding of the forces shaping their business including cultural context, business environment and consumer insights.

Panoramix was established by Iconoculture co-founder Mary Meehan in 2010 and is developing Metametrix, a 'cultural intelligence tool' providing rapid insight into underlying changes in society. With its new partner, it has designed a framework combining 'systems thinking, analytical rigor, and strategic synthesis' to allow clients to shift from analysing what has happened to 'more dynamic, forward-focused foresights'.

Michigan-based Gongos, participating in the beta of Metametrix, will help refine the platform for public release later this year. Its Chief Innovation Officer, Greg Heist, comments: 'In the face of disruptive forces shaping both companies and consumers, foresights are a key component in building organizational resilience. This collaboration will help organizations develop a sharper vision of the future and make more enlightened decisions to navigate it'.

Meehan, who is now CEO of Panoramix, says the two companies 'share a deep desire to continually innovate for the purpose of our client's business first' and that the partnership is built around 'delivering that kind of flexibility and agility to help our clients grow their business in an increasingly dynamic global marketplace'.
