Gongos Promotes Heist to Chief Innovation Officer

US research provider Gongos Inc. has promoted Greg Heist to the position of Chief Innovation Officer, co-ordinating a cross-disciplinary team which will tap into technological and societal trends to shape the future of the company and the industry it serves.

Auburn Hills, MI-based Gongos comprises Gongos Research, data sciences consultancy O2 Integrated, and 'insight curation' division Arti|fact. Heist (pictured) joined the firm in 2003 as a Senior Project Director, and more recently served as VP of Research, Innovation & Technology (RIT), having helped set up the RIT team in early 2009, to examine how consumers and companies plan to use emerging technologies to engage with one another. Earlier, he was a Project Director at Research Data Analysis, and he worked as Strategy Development Analyst at GM Truck & Bus Group.
