UserTesting Hires CFO
In London, UX research firm UserTesting has appointed Ryan Roland as Chief Financial Officer - its second top-level addition in two weeks.
UserTesting delivers end-to-end capabilities from participant recruitment through AI-driven insight generation. The firm is a Thoma Bravo portfolio company alongside research and analytics firms including Medallia, J.D. Power and Verint, combines a huge participant network, AI-driven insights, feedback solutions and expert services to help enterprises validate decisions, co-innovate at scale and improve products and experiences.
Roland (pictured) joins from Overjet, where he served as CFO during a period of rapid expansion. Earlier he held finance leadership roles at AKASA, an AI-first healthcare technology company; and at Honor, Teespring, Jive Software, and SAP SuccessFactors.
In his new role, he leads UserTesting's global finance organisation, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, and information technology.
UserTesting CEO Eric Johnson states: 'Our customers rely on us to help them avoid building the wrong things, and as AI accelerates how quickly products and experiences are created, the demand for what we offer is only increasing. Ryan brings the experience we need to scale thoughtfully so we can meet that demand without compromising quality.'
The company, which has already added a (US-based) CTO this month, is online at www.usertesting.com .
