Discuss Appoints Chief Research Officer

Atlanta, GA-based continuous insights platform Discuss has appointed Luke Williams in the new role of Chief Research Officer. He joins from a similar position at Press Ganey Forsta.

Quant and qual platform Discuss merged last year with research software firm Voxco, creating a company with more than 200 employees in sixteen countries, and promising an integration of qual expertise, survey technology and AI-powered analytics. Its solutions include AI Agents, human-led research options, and combined quant and open-ended analysis, and in July it launched Discuss Intelligence, which allows clients to interrogate all the data they have ever collected on the platform, in plain language, for immediate answers with full details of sources.

Williams (pictured) brings more than two decades of research and CX leadership experience from companies including Microsoft, Qualtrics, AECOM and Ipsos. Most recently he worked as Chief CX and Research Officer at Press Ganey Forsta. He is the co-author of two books, the New York Times bestseller The Wallet Allocation Rule, and Why Loyalty Matters; and holds a master's degree in Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods from Durham University. Much of his published work connects research methodology directly to financial outcomes by linking what a research team measures to the decisions a business makes.

In his new role, he will help drive Discuss' research strategy and reinforce its commitment to research which is 'scalable, continuous, and intelligent while keeping humans at the center.' He reports to CEO Daniel Graff-Radford, who comments: 'AI is reshaping research, and we have been reshaping Discuss to meet it. Hiring Luke was about finding a partner who already sees where this is going. He knows how to combine our AI-enabled platform with our customers' own research so that insights leaders move from supporting decisions to guiding them.'
