Hightouch Buys Data Connector Strata
In San Francisco, agentic marketing specialist Hightouch has acquired Strata, an AI platform that connects marketing tools without code. Hightouch says the buy will give its clients' AI agents 'more of the data they need to make decisions.'
Hightouch offers an 'AI Decisioning' lifecycle marketing solution, which builds an agentic marketing platform on top of a comprehensive enterprise context layer for each individual client, then experiments with messaging, timing and channel decisions to optimize them for every customer. The firm has offices in London and Paris, and earlier this year reported a $150 million Series D round, valuing it at $2.75 billion. Last week it named Matthew Lubeck as General Manager, EMEA.
Strata was founded in 2024 by Kelsey Mullaney, Julian Mclain and Ilya Brin, all former employees of Iterable. The company's AI agents help users of any level of technical ability to bring together the data they need to make confident decisions, and Hightouch expects the acquisition to simplify onboarding and give customers more flexibility. Mullaney, who is Strata's CEO, will join Hightouch to help lead revenue programs and go-to-market strategy. Hightouch co-founder and CTO Joshua Curl comments: 'Marketers should be able to use their customer data without waiting on engineering for every new campaign or connection, and Strata helps us deliver on that for our customers.'
