Indicus Data Reaches Neighbourhood Level
Economic research and data analysis firm Indicus has rolled out its Indian consumer profiles research at a neighbourhood level, giving marketers granular data about income estimates and living standards.
New Delhi-headquartered Indicus provides information about the economy and various facets of Indian consumers at city, district and now neighbourhood level. The updated 'City Skyline of India' research divides 112 cities - or 60% of the urban population - into neighbourhoods which can be as small as a few square kilometres. Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata have been divided into 128, 99, 102, and 141 neighbourhoods respectively.
Information on consumer demographics, disposable income, household expenditure - on food, FMCG, durables, clothing, footwear, and miscellaneous goods - and savings are all included in the latest data.
