Tara Jethwani has been named Vice President, Client Operations of panel firm Lightspeed Research in the Americas, responsible for managing staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and designing and implementing process improvements. Jethwani joined the firm in 2004 as Senior Project Director. She most recently worked as Client Operations Director, managing an ops team and contributing to initiatives such as those for online data quality and operational best practices. Prior to this, she worked at GfK NOP as Research Director, and at Princeton Survey Research Associates as Project Director. Jethwani has an MA and PhD in Sociology, with a focus on research methods and social issues. In her new role, she will become part of the company’s leadership team in the Americas, and will report to CEO Christopher Urinyi, who comments: ‘Tara’s solid understanding of online market research and strong leadership will provide the high level of service expected by our clients’. Lightspeed Research was launched in May 2000 by the Kantar Group, the information, insight and consultancy division of WPP.
