Healthcare research specialist Double Helix US has appointed Sally Davis as Vice President, Strategic Market Research and Margie Sherr with the same title. Davis has been a Consultant to the healthcare industry since 1999. For the past three years she has worked as a Senior Consultant with GfK Strategic Marketing, prior to which she worked for the global group’s custom healthcare marketing research arm, GfK V2. She previously worked as a Quantitative Psychologist at DataTactics, and also taught statistics, research methods, and cognitive psychology at Bryn Mawr College and Lehigh University. During her career, Davis has conducted market research studies in new product development, product positioning and message testing, as well as market segmentation, pricing and forecasting. Sherr has more than 25 years’ experience in marketing and marketing research, with the last 20 years spent in the healthcare industry. Most recently, she was a Partner at healthcare marketing research company Olitzky Whittle, before which she worked for IMS Health in sales and marketing roles. She has extensive experience in both qualitative and advanced multivariate techniques, spanning the entire product development process, and including both US and international research.
