In the UK, online specialist Opinium Research has appointed YouGov’s former UK MD Panos Manolopoulos as a non-executive Director on its Board.
Launched in 2007 by YouGov’s former Head of Market Research Mark Hodson, the company provides full-service MR and project management. Last October, it rolled out a UK political poll, to track voter intention on a weekly basis ahead of this year’s May general election.
Manolopoulos joins the Board with 20 years’ market research experience. For the last year, he has run his own digital media research consultancy. For the previous four years he worked at YouGov; latterly as CEO International Partnerships, and before this as MD in the UK. He was previously SVP/MD at Lightspeed Research, and held RD level roles at TNS and GfK/NOP.
