In India, technology specialist Springboard Research has promoted Frederic Giron to the post of Head of the IT Services team, and named Seepij Gupta as Associate Research Manager. Springboard has a global presence with research centers in Singapore, Australia, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, the UAE, and the US. Prior to joining earlier this year as VP, India & Research Operations, Giron was Research Director at Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC), and before this he worked as an SAP consultant with PriceWaterhouse Coopers. As Vice President, IT Services, Giron is now responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the practice. He is primarily involved in expanding and developing research coverage of the Asia Pacific IT Services market and the development of Asia Pacific and Middle East / Africa-based research and consulting accounts. Most recently, Gupta served as a Senior Market Analyst with IDC’s Asia/Pacific Domain Research group, covering computing systems, and tracking datacenter and cloud services and solutions. Before this, he was with IDC India, as a Manager for Consulting and Customized Software and Services Research. In his new role, he will track the IT Services market across the Asia Pacific region. This includes watching key market developments in the industry, analyzing channel dynamics impacting various industry verticals and business segments along with providing competitive analysis in the Asia Pacific region.
