Edward Kershaw - European Director
Edward is responsible for growing Nielsen's mobile business in Europe. He joined Nielsen from Nokia where he was Director of Mobile Media Experiences within Nokia's Mobile Phones Business Group. In this role, he led Nokia's activities in creating a consumer-focused and high quality music, video, mobile TV experience for mass market consumption.
Prior to Nokia, Edward was, from 2001, the global Head of Music at Vodafone. During this time, Vodafone's mobile music services grew from monophonic ringtones through to polyphonics, real-tones, mobile video and full-track music downloads. He was also responsible for negotiating commercial agreements with the major record labels and other key players in the global entertainment market.
