The Research Department within ERS was set up in 1991 primarily to conduct stakeholder research, that is, research among members, customers, employees and opinion leaders focussing on public sector organisations including local and health authorities as well as other not for profit organisations such as charities, trades unions and professional bodies. It now conducts research into a range of social policy areas. The research team at ERS are able to offer a high quality, responsive research service for its clients regardless of size of project.
