CollectMyThoughts is a crowd-sourced online software rating service initially developed for the learning and human resources industry. The website was established by professionals in these industries that saw a need for a resource that would allow users to identify and evaluate learning and training solutions used by their industry, such as Learning Management Systems, Authoring Tools, Off-the-Shelf Content and Video Training solutions.

The aim of the website is to provide vendors with a platform on which they can present information, such as feature and functionality descriptions, of their solutions to users within the industry. Actual users of these solutions can provide relevant and reliable ratings, feedback and commentary, which can then be used by others to find an appropriate tool for their organization.
