Next Fifteen Talks Terminated

Negotiations between PR and research group Next Fifteen Communications Group plc and two potential buyers, Chime Communications and Huntsworth, have been terminated.

The board of Next Fifteen announced just over a week ago that the company had received two approaches about the possibility of acquiring its entire issued share capital, and PR and research groups Chime and Huntsworth confirmed their interest in the firm, which owns Context Analytics and Redshift Research.

Today Next Fifteen advised shareholders that it had 'decided to end the discussions with both parties' before any of the three had undetaken any due diligence or reached any definitive agreement. The statement continued: 'The board of Next Fifteen believes that the interests of both shareholders and the business are best served by remaining as an independent group at the present time. The board continues to explore opportunities to develop and extend the Next Fifteen range of services.'
