Pharma Research Alliance for Tugboat

In the US, pharma/biotech marcoms agency Tugboat Consulting has formed partnerships with two organizations, to enable it to provide clients with new products, including an evidence-based market research concept.

Together with ICORE (the Institute of Clinical Outcomes Research and Education), Tugboat will offer what it describes as the 'first evidence-based market research tool for pharma clients'. ICORE, which specializes in understanding, analyzing and interpreting large databases, will use a team of statistical and epidemiological experts to find patterns in physicians' behaviour, to help clients better understand their customers' perspectives and needs.

Tugboat will also have direct access to a panel of more than 7,000 physicians developed by MDRx Financial, a company specializing in analyzing product/market trends in the pharma industry and supplying physician-level data. This panel will provide clients with qual market research in nearly all sub-specialties of medicine.
