Research Now Rolls Out Mobile Survey Tech

Online research and panels specialist Research Now has launched a 'family' of mobile survey products called Momentum. The new technology offers quick polls using SMS; and online surveys using WAP, GPRS and 3G connections.

In addition, the mobile application survey engine enables respondents to download an application to take surveys. This feature is available for use by the firm's UK panel, and will soon be available to the worldwide Valued Opinion panels, to enable survey-taking in up to 36 countries.

CEO Chris Havemann comments: 'With three exciting offerings, Momentum offers quick and accurate results from respondents, and increases their engagement as research panellists. The projects commissioned to date have proven a great success.'

Research Now operates 36 proprietary, research-only online panels across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific, from 17 offices. It recently predicted that first half revenues will rise 23% to £23.5m.
