German Rebrand for WPP Firms | July 1 2009 |

Following the merger of TNS and RI earlier in the year, the company has announced that TNS Infratest will now be known in Germany as TNS Infratest RI.
The firms were combined in February, when WPP’s insight group Kantar streamlined its businesses after its parent bought TNS.
The new TNS, which is led by Bob Meyers as Chairman and Pedro Ros as CEO, is known as TNS Research International in some markets, while in others the firm says TNS will ‘maintain its heritage brands’.
‘TNS Infratest – with its comprehensive portfolio of excellent business solutions – will benefit from the integration with RI, particularly in the areas of innovation, research, consumer market research and qualitative research,’ explained Bruno Hötzel, CEO of TNS Infratest in Germany.
TNS Infratest conducts qual research in the automotive and transport, pharmaceutical, IT/telecoms, new media, financial, consumer goods, and media, politics and social research sectors.
