Digital Research Agency Launched

July 6 2009

UK digital marketing specialist Digital Marketing Group plc (DMG) has announced the launch of new agency DemographDMG, which it says will provide 'digital research with a human touch'.

Alongside more traditional offline research methodologies, the new company will offer digital research services including web usability and accessibility; digital pre-testing and concept testing; online qualitative and quantitative research; and online brand health benchmarking and tracking.

Operating from the Group's Sheffield office, but with a growing virtual network of digital research consultants around the country, DemographDMG already has a number of commissioned research projects including studies for AXA Healthcare, Thompson & Morgan and Travis Perkins.

DMG CEO Ben Langdon comments: 'We think that traditional research agencies have been rather slow to leverage the rich communication advantages of the internet and other digital channels. In turn, many brands have become overly reliant upon the behavioural data delivered by standard web metrics.' Planning Director Paul Stallard adds: 'Now more than ever, brands and businesses need to be able to demonstrate that they understand consumers and their customers in depth and detail. DemographDMG will inventively use digital and traditional research methods and blend this approach to deliver this knowledge to brands.'

DMG was listed on AIM in October 2006 and now employs over 600 people, making it 'the UKs biggest digital marketing agency' according to Campaign Magazine earlier this year.
