MediaCom Promotes for Regional Insight Post

WPP-owned media communication specialist MediaCom has promoted Carsten Lind to the role of Regional Head of Insight for EMEA, supporting local insight departments and developing new insight tools across the region.

Carsten LindLind joined the firm more than eight years ago, and most recently worked as Head of Insight for the Nordic region, where he managed communication tracking and consumer research for two of the firm's biggest local clients. He was previously Market Research Director at window manufacturing firm Velux.

In his new role, Lind will work closely with Global Chief Insight Officer Mick Mernagh, who comments: 'Carsten will be a great asset to the EMEA team. He has worked with MediaCom for many years and is very experienced in providing our clients with actionable insights to grow their business. It's another great opportunity to build on the MediaCom Network team from our own ranks.'

Lind will begin the new job at the beginning of October 2009, and he will continue to be based in the firm's Denmark office.
