UberVu Launches Social Comment Aggregation Tool

September 7 2009

UberVu - which tracks comments across sites like Twitter and Facebook - has launched the public beta test of its new service, which enables users to type in a search keyword and then see how many people are discussing it and where the conversations are happening.

Where buzz tracking technologies analyse mentions of a company name or brand, the new service is oriented around which people are interacting with a firm's content and whether that firm is engaging them or not. Results are provided in a single interface.

UberVu says its approach 'turns the tables' on buzz tracking by focusing on measuring and growing a company's community; building relationships and loyalty with people rather than maximizing mention count without regard to people or relationships. The firm claims the new solution will help companies or brands find out what is being said about them, and then enable them to get involved in those conversations.

'Participating in conversations requires that you know where people talk and who's talking. And giving great customer service is about listening, treating people as human beings and doing your best to help,' according to the firm's own blog.

The London- and Bucharest-based firm, set up by Vladimir Oane and Dragos Ilinca, is online at www.ubervu.com .
