Panel Intelligence Expands Oncology Sample

US healthcare specialist Panel Intelligence has expanded its access to patients, to provide cancer therapeutics companies with direct access to the end users of their products.

Listening to the patient...The range of indications for which Panel Intelligence can now provide patient-based market research includes solid tumor cancers, as well as blood cancers including Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and leukaemia.

With this access, the firm says it can recruit statistically robust samples in the cancer types constituting 80% of all cancer illnesses.

The company can now target patients with defined clinical conditions to allow segmentation into specific subpopulations by clinical and demographic data.

Panel Intelligence accesses a database that includes a profile of each patient and specifically defines their treatment history, helping clients to evaluate patient education materials, understand compliance issues and determine unmet needs.
