US-based ActiveGroup, which provides video streaming to the market research industry, has hired former Opinium MD Dan Foreman to lead international business development from its London office.
ActiveGroup provides Software as a Service (SaaS) based streaming video solutions used to deliver qual research studies over the Internet.
Foreman joins from online market research agency Opinium, where he had worked as MD for 14 month until his departure last November. Prior to this, he spent six months as interim MD of healthcare research fieldwork Mede-Qual, and three years with focus group video technology firm FocusVision, whose European office he established in London.
During his career, he has also worked agency side at WFCA, Incite, Added Value and Research International; and client side as Research Director at Kimberly-Clark.
In his new role as MD, Europe and APAC at ActiveGroup, Foreman is tasked with continuing the growth of the business as part of the firm's existing UK-based international team.
'We have been looking to hire a big player in Europe for some time,' stated Lee House, President of ActiveGroup. 'Dan Foreman comes with the perfect pedigree, having started two companies previously in the video streaming space, and with a solid background in market research.'
