New Firm to Advise MR providers

In New York, former Harris Interactive exec Kyle Karnes has set up a consultancy to help market research agencies with their growth strategies, and advise them on merger and acquisition activity.

Prior to founding his new firm Red Pearl Advisors, Karnes worked for Harris Interactive for 11 years. He joined the firm in 1998 as Director of Internet Operations, leading development of its Internet-based market research model. Most recently, he served as EVP of Corporate Development, where he was responsible for overseeing global expansion and related M&A activities.

Prior to this corporate role, he held senior positions in the Technology, Automotive, Product Solutions, CPG, General Markets, Financial Services and Advanced Analytics business units.

Red Pearl will work with small and mid-sized agencies, to offer support for their international expansion plans; as well as their technology, marketing and product development strategies. In addition, the firm will advise on global sourcing, human capital development, and acquisitions.
