Vittles to Nourish Research SMEs

In Australia, public sector specialist and former TNS exec Paul Vittles is launching The Vittles Organisation, centred around training and development, and with the particular goal of working with small and medium-sized research firms.

Paul VittlesUnder the banner of 'helping people and organisations to understand and achieve their potential, the businesses will offer coaching, training, development consultancy, workshop facilitation, and motivational speaking.

Vittles, who moved to Australia from the UK in February 2005 and now has dual citizenship, has been a professional researcher for more than 25 years. He has practiced as an executive coach since 1997, and most recently was Director and Executive Coach with TNS Australia. He was was CEO until January 2005 of the UK's RBA Research, which later went into administration.

He was awarded Fellowship of the MRS in 2001; and Fellowship of the RSA in 1996 - he is currently the latter's Chairman in Australia and New Zealand.

Vittles, who says he has nurtured the idea of the Organisation for a number of years and gets 'a real buzz' from working with small and mid-sized firms, told DRNO: 'Since word got round that I'd left TNS, I've been contacted by several research firms in the UK wanting to set up in Australia. They asked me if I was interested in heading up their Australian office. I said 'no but I can assist you in getting started, developing your strategy for an Australian business, putting together the right team, developing the team, etc'.
