Econsultancy Hires to Expand US Research Practice

London-based Internet research and training firm Econsultancy has hired former Marketing Sherpa Research Director Stefan Tornquist, to lead the US expansion of its research and best practice programs.

Stefan TornquistEconsultancy, which has offices in London and New York, offers best practice reports, analysis and insight into the business of digital marketing and e-commerce. The firm also provides training, and runs the UK's only MSc in Digital Marketing together with Manchester Metropolitan University.

In addition, the firm publishes the Web Analytics Buyer's Guide which is aimed at companies investigating the market for web analytics providers.

Tornquist joins from MarketingSherpa, which conducts primary research and publishes marketing case studies and benchmark data. While there, he led the firm's research initiatives, and was responsible for conducting primary research and well as selecting partner research data for its annual Benchmark Guides.
