TNS Cements Pakistan Partnership

TNS has formalised its partnership with qual and quant agency Aftab Associates, to offer services in Pakistan and Afghanistan under the brand name of TNS-Aftab.

Steve Hamilton-ClarkAftab has more than 27 years' experience in marketing research and consultancy in Pakistan across many sectors including packaged goods, financial, telecom, beverages, personal and home care, tobacco, media and social. The firm also has experience of conducting fieldwork in Afghanistan and Kashmir.

Services include customer satisfaction studies, market segmentation, market sizing, concept tests, mystery shopping and opinion polls, and the company also conducts focus groups, in-depth interviews, in-home visits and ethnographic studies.

In addition, TNS-Aftab has developed a socio-economic classification system for Pakistan, and offers syndicated research programmes such as TNS Tracker Plus - a continuous brand health monitor, Kids Media Reality, Media Index Teen, Youth Panel and the National Readership Survey.

The company has a team of more than 40 based in its headquarters in Lahore, and offices in Karachi and Islamabad, as well as an extensive field setup across 12 cities in Pakistan to offer both urban and rural area coverage.
