Integreon Receives $50m to Fuel Growth

Emerging markets financier Actis has invested $50m in outsourcing specialist Integreon, which the firm will use to support its growth plans, make 'strategic' acquisitions, and expand its delivery centers in the US, UK, India, China, South Africa and the Philippines.

Liam BrownIntegreon provides research, legal and other business Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO). Last year, it acquired Grail Research, a market intelligence and strategic research firm headquartered in Cambridge, Mass.

Erik Tabuena, President of Integreon Philippines, said that the fresh funds will also be used to double the firm's domestic footprint to 400 workers, adding to its roughly 2,000 workers globally.

Integreon also remains in 'continuous talks' for potential acquisitions, officials said. The company has invested $200m since it was founded more than 12 years ago.

The deal, which values Integreon at $81m, also secures Actis two seats on Integreon's Board of Directors.
