Majestic Reinforces China Operations

Healthcare market research specialist Majestic MRSS has expanded its presence in China through the roll out of Focus Vision video-streaming facilities in Shanghai, and the addition of new team members.

Established in 1992, Majestic MRSS works with clients across the healthcare, pharma, FMCG/CPG, auto, telecoms and media sectors. In September, the firm opened a new office in Dubai, and equipped ten of its existing focus group facilities across Asia with Focus Vision services.

This latest expansion adds to the firm's fifteen facilities across nine countries, of which eleven operations across six countries are Focus Vision enabled.

'We think the technologies that we are bringing into the market research industry in China will attract a lot of customers,' stated co-founder Raj Sharma. 'This is especially true with regards to the eye-tracking technology and usability labs that we are launching.'

The firm has also appointed Randy Chen and Lizzie Chang, who join the firm with cross-industry experience across Taiwan and Greater China.

Chen studied law in the US and then worked for an international trading firm. He has experience across the ICT, automotive and FMCG industries. Chang is a management graduate and language expert, who specialises in rural Chinese dialects.

Sharma describes both appointments as 'great assets for our clients'.
