Reed Merges Marketing and Analytics Units

In the UK, Reed Business Information has merged its data services unit Mardev and its list management and online research division DM2-DecisionMaker. The two form a new company, serving the marketing, data and analysis needs of B2B marketers globally.

Zina MandaThe firm says its DecisionMaker brand and marketplace databases will be the foundation of the new company, 'Mardev-DM2'.

By integrating the firms' database and marketing analytics product portfolio, their services are enhanced with data cleansing, lead qualification, campaign automation and online measurement tools, to offer marketers a single source for information.

Mardev-DM2's databases comprise targeted data from industries such as IT, legal, construction, engineering, hospitality, healthcare, aerospace, scientific and general business - to name a few.

Zina Manda, Director of the new company, says marketers are demanding 'greater targeting, metrics and results than ever before', and says integrating the firm's US and international data will expand reach and opportunities for marketers, whether they are domestically or globally focused.
