Online Women's Communities Launched

Online women's opinion specialist SheSpeaks has announced the launch of 'Brand Advisory Communities,' which it says will connect participating brands with targeted communities of 2,000 or more consumers for 12-month plus programs providing quant and qual insights.

Communities will be recruited and managed on an ongoing basis by SheSpeaks. Early users include beauty and personal care firm Chrysallis, whose Advisory Community of 5,000 female consumers nationwide will assist development of its StriVectin skincare products; and consultancy Booz & Company, which has used the SheSpeaks platform for client insights work.

SheSpeaks CEO Aliza Freud comments: 'Brands have a need to develop insights and drive innovation more quickly than ever... Our communities are designed to connect brands with their target customer for a direct dialogue and engagement that generates both deep and scalable feedback.'

The Communities also help to inform product branding and marketing, including ad and concept testing; engage consumers in evaluating new product ideas; and encourage brand advocacy.
