Vision Critical Hires Product Innovation Director

Canadian-based custom panel and technology firm Vision Critical has appointed former Kantar Worldpanel Director Steve Davis as Director of Product Innovation, as part of its strategy to invest in NPD, improvement and innovation.

Steve DavisOn Friday, the firm announced plans to double its investment in technology this year, with the launch of five new products, and the addition of 55 product-based employees in support.

Davis joins the innovation team from Kantar Worldpanel UK where he was Strategic Insight Director - Marketing, responsible for re-branding commercial positioning of ad hoc products. He originally joined the group as Director of UK Custom Research, during which time he delivered consumer and shopper behaviour projects for FMCG brands.

Prior to this, he was Senior Marketing Manager at Apple in South Africa, where he oversaw the planning and execution of the marketing program. Earlier in his career, he worked in a senior business development role at Tom Tom, and owned his own hockey equipment firm.
