Nielsen Names New MD in Singapore

Joan Koh has been promoted to the position of Managing Director of Nielsen in Singapore, after more than a decade with the firm. She replaces Paul Richmond, who has taken on the role of regional Managing Director of Retail Services and Product Leadership.

Joan KohKoh joined Nielsen’s Consumer Research team in 1999, since when she has gained experience across a broad range of industries including FMCG, durables, finance, IT and telecoms.

Before her promotion, Koh led the Singapore Consumer Research function as Executive Director, and was also a member of the firm’s Singapore Management Committee.

In her new role, she reports to Christophe Cambournac, President for Asia Pacific, India, Middle East and Africa.

‘Joan possesses unwavering energy, which combined with her professionalism and disciplined approach have enabled her to develop strong relationships with some of the company’s key clients,’ Cambournac stated.
