Munich-based online fieldwork specialist ODC Services has appointed former Lightspeed Research executive Tom Meyritz to drive its expansion in the UK market.

Founded in 2005, ODC Services provides online data collection services for the market research industry, and offers international clients online sampling and fieldwork services through its proprietary panels at www.opinion-people.com .

Meyritz joins from online panel specialist Lightspeed Research where he worked as Senior European Account Director. He was previously Head of Client Development at Ciao Surveys, prior to which he held sales roles at The Independent newspaper.

‘We are happy to have Tom on board, as he brings a lot of experience in the field of online panels and especially in the UK market,’ stated CEO Christoph Irmer.

The firm has also appointed Ariana Somcutean as a Junior Product Developer. Somcutean, who also joins from Ciao Surveys, will be responsible for product development for interactive survey design.
