Pulse Opens Healthcare and Auto Practice

Panel provider and research outsourcing firm Pulse Group has opened a specialist Healthcare and Automotive practice, providing online panels, CATI and full-service offerings across Asia. Pulse’s full-service capabilities encompass brand related insights, measurement, sentiment analysis and Consumer 2.0, which it offers across Asia-Pacific. The firm – which has offices in Kuala Lumpur, New York, London, Sydney, New Delhi and Singapore – also manages www.planet-pulse.com – an online community of survey respondents throughout Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Its hew Healthcare practice will be lead by Christine Chua, who joins from Frost & Sullivan, with support from Leslie Auyeong, previously of Research International. ‘Our vertical focus comes at a time where specialist panel coverage as well as research expertise is crucial in enhancing our footprint across the region,’ explained CEO Bob Chua. ‘Our clients are expecting a higher degree of involvement in complex and specialised projects, and the development is also in line with our intentions of providing a full-suite of digital research services across all sectors.’ Pulse has also recently hired former Nielsen Jarkarta exec Sandeep Verma as Operations Head based in New Delhi; Rajat Srivastava from Kantar; Andre Farsandi from Scicom Indonesia; and a number of other specialists who will be leading the vertical initiatives across the region.
