Synovate Korea Names New Healthcare Head

Synovate Korea has promoted Mr TaeHoon Kim to lead its Healthcare Division, effective this month.

Kim worked at Gallup Korea from 2002-6 and then joined TNS Healthcare, leaving for Synovate Healthcare in 2008. He has extensive research and industry experience in both consumer (FMCG, electronics and finance) and healthcare markets (pharmaceuticals and medical devices).

He holds a BA and MA degree, and is currently a Ph.D Candidate in Consumer Psychology at Chung Ang University, where he has lectured for several years. He is based in Seoul.

The firm says the promotion reflects his 'outstanding progress in growing existing clients, most of them multinational pharmaceutical companies, and successfully developing new/lapsed clients.' It also praises his 'strong commitment to quality and insightful delivery of projects', and his 'ceaseless commitment to his work'.
