Leading Edge Builds Up Sydney Office

Australian insights consultancy The Leading Edge has made five senior appointments in Sydney, after winning several major new clients.

Jonathan Wibberley and Derek McInnes have joined the firm as Senior Consultants, while Barbara Grausgruber, Simone Sandoval and Nicole Menezes have been appointed for Account and Project Management positions.

Most recently, Wibberley worked as a Research Director at Synovate, prior to which he held senior customer and market insight, and competitor intelligence roles at BT.

McInnes was previously a Director at Simpson Carpenter, before which he held director-level posts at Research International, and spent 11 years at TNS.

'We are still recruiting to keep pace with the increased demand we have for our research consultancy services,' explained Managing Partner Chris Paxton. 'There is a new trend emerging where we are seeing a move away from the more tactical projects, that typified the past 18 months, as clients are now focusing on more strategic issues.

Launched in 1990, the firm also has offices in Melbourne, Singapore and London.
