Adenyo Boosts Consumer Analytics with KinetX Buy

June 15 2010

In Canada, mobile marketing software firm Adenyo has acquired intellectual property, software and a specialized business unit from US software engineering consultancy KinetX, to boost its predictive consumer analytics and consumer and market intelligence offering.

Tyler NelsonAdenyo enables agencies, brands and mobile operators to develop and measure marketing strategies and campaigns in the mobile arena. The firm recently appointed Nielsen veteran Chris Matys as its Chief Analytics Officer.

The acquisition includes the 'KinetX Analytic Search Technologies' (KAST) tool; automated analytics software engine PredictiveIQ; and the KAST engineering staff who will join the Adenyo team.

Adenyo says that KAST's solutions allow companies to automatically determine the key characteristics of their best customers, and to use those attributes to score and rank prospects from third party national databases. The result is that each customer can be linked with quantifiable improvements in the ROI associated with each marketing campaign that uses KinetX's PredictiveIQ technology.

'The KAST platform will have huge implications on how we think about real-time predictive analytics and business intelligence,' explains Adenyo Chairman and CEO Tyler Nelson. 'We are pleased to welcome the KAST team and believe our joint commitment to innovation, technological excellence and customer satisfaction will ensure we deliver to our clients an unmatched business intelligence offering.'

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
